This app is extremely beneficial to both students and teachers. It helps students complete assignments more quickly and easier. It answers questions the students may have when the teacher isn't available. It is pretty much Google but it is dedicated to educational topics. This app is free and easy to use.

I originally only downloaded this to my phone to help with my daughter's math homework. After trying it and realizing it didn't just give a quick answer I put it on her phone as well.

I originally downloaded this app thinking of some of the students I work with who have trouble completing homework because of they 'don't understand'. I love how you're able to take a picture or type in the math problem you're having trouble with! However, when I took a picture of a particular problem (the paper had been laminated), it solved a different problem than the one I had taken a picture of. I think typing in the problem is easier than taking a picture. The app is also very engaging for students! It reinforces the use of technology and empowers them to find a solution rather than choosing not to complete the assignment. I've heard parents comment on the use of 'common core' in the classroom and how it's 'more work' and 'not like the old days'. This app gives them the opportunity to search and learn what and how their child is being taught!
