Just the same game in a different engine the devs really did do a great job also it in 16:9

I've played the original Sega Genesis version but never played this version. Sonic 2 is a strange game. Do I think it's better then Sonic 1? I don't know. The classic momentum game-play has been toned down a bit. Sonic 1 made you earn your speed, Sonic 2 just gave you it. From a ton of automated sections, to more, it doesn't feel like a real sequel. Sonic CD does. But, it's still Sonic, it's still fun, we now have Tails, we now have the Spin-Dash, so it's still really good! Play it!

With the remake of Sonic 2, any other attempt can’t beat this!

hard and 2d it is really it reminds me of sonic mania but lots of fun you should get this game

This game is way past cool! It doesn't have any scariness!

I have loads of memories playing this game when i was younger, once i got to almost the last level in one sitting!

Christian Whitehead has done an incredible job on remaking this game. He added Knuckles as a playable character, made the special stages better and even added an entirely new zone based on a scrapped concept of one that was cut from the original. The hard work and dedication beams from this product.

This game had the first appearance of a fox named Miles "Tails" Prower who help Sonic The Hedgehog to defeat Dr. Ivo Robotnik(who is now called Dr Eggman) in this Sonic game Sonic's nemesis Dr. Ivo Robotnik is planning world domination with his army of animals he's placed into robots, and continues to seek the power of the seven Chaos Emeralds - this time, to construct his ultimate weapon, an armored space station known as the Death Egg. The goal of the game is to collect the 7 chaos Emeralds from Robotnik. this game has got lots of great levels and Sega did a brilliant job creating Sonic 2 and the score Im giving Sonic The Hedgehog 2 is 100/100 This game is enjoyable but Sonic and Knuckles is my favourite Sonic game
