What's It About?

SUPER STICKMAN GOLF 3 has a single player mode and two multiplayer modes – race and turn based. In single player mode, there are five tours. Each tour includes four courses and each of these courses has nine holes. In order to progress, players must unlock the previous course by scoring par or under. In race mode, four players compete in real time to finish a hole as quickly as possible. In the more traditional turn based mode, players take turns trying for the fewest number of shots per hole. Touch controls are pretty simple -- players tap arrows to set the angle of the shot, then tap a golf club once to choose the level of power and again to swing the club. Kids earn the virtual currency, golf bux, through game play and use it to buy power-ups and customized clothing. They can also make in-app purchases to buy golf bux, power-ups, downloadable courses, and more.

Its easy controls, unique course layouts, power-up options, and multiplayer modes make this golf game stand out as a winner. Some holes in Super Stickman Golf 3 are relatively easy to score par on, while others take practice to master. This, along with the user-friendly controls and power-ups, are reasons that the game is appealing to players of all skill levels.

One option that seems to be missing is the ability to select a type of club prior to each swing, and some golf enthusiasts might be disappointed by this omission. The spin feature somewhat makes up for this since it allows players to adjust the ball’s roll when it lands. And with its wacky course features like lasers and sticky walls, the game hardly reflects traditional golfing rules and tactics. Kids who are looking for a challenging but light-hearted virtual golf game that tests their ability to use accurate aim and force are in for a treat.
