Watch out!

Although I was so excited that my tween was playing an educational game and increasing her vocabulary, turns out that they encourage players to make friends and join chat rooms the more they play. Not knowing exactly how this works, we discovered that our child joined a chatroom called "sex101" and it is very concerning who may be on this site and the context. Watch out, I will delete this app immediately.

You’ve ruined the Butterfly game!!!

You managed to totally ruin the fun of the Butterfly game by making it so unbearably long!! Literally have to play 50 games to get one butterfly, much less ever filling in the landscape, which would take a year of solid playing to achieve!! What idiot on your team jumped in and ruined a good thing?? Used to be enjoyable, now it sucks!!!

Don’t support this deceptive company.

I’ve been playing Wordscapes for a few years. I’m now leaving. Why? The lack of company support listening to what players are saying. There are too many cases to count them all, but here are some. Collectively, over two years, they resulted in me no longer willing to support them. 1) The midweek games (butterflies, profile picture games) that allow only a certain small number of people to “win.” You will think it’s a fair game, but it’s not. 2) The lack of transparency. They (support) will never tell you the rules of the game, and keep changing them. 3) When you write to support, you’ll typically get a canned response ending with “I will pass your feedback along to our team. Thanks for playing the game.” Without fail. 4) If you pay for removing ads—which many of us have done because ads here are very disruptive—you will still get ads for products PeopleFun wants to sell you. This includes buying coins and buying the Piggy Bank. When I protested, I was told that “these are not ads—they are game features.” In other words, they think their customers are bloody fools. This company is not worth supporting. They are deceptive and make up their own rules as they go along. There are so many other better games out there from reputable companies.

Game okay, adverts inappropriate

The adverts are inappropriate which makes the whole app inappropriate. Frequency and maturity of ads continues to increase. It is one thing to be annoyed with the amount of ads, disrupting play over and over again. Now that the ads no longer match the innocence of the game, it’s game over for me with Wordscapes!!

Maybe community support will help. Game is good for mindless entertainment waiting at the airport. However, the wordscapes game seems to be hacked. The three all time high scoring people magically appeared a few months ago with hundreds of million of points each, now one out of the blue with 1 billion. Why I dont recommend the game anymore is because I have been requesting the game owner to kindly remove the offending players and tighten up their system. They have done nothing. Out of due diligence, i am now broadcasting to the community to hopefully encourage the site owner to fix the problem. Or, at least be aware you will be joining a site with questionable protections.

Game interrupted by ACTUAL PORN

I was playing the daily puzzle of the ‘In Bloom’ version of Wordscapes when there was an intrusive clip. At first I couldn’t believe what I was seeing; I wondered why there was an ad in the middle of the game, but then it became clear that what I was watching was part of an EXPLICIT PORN CLIP! After about 3-5 seconds, it was over and the screen returned to the game. Those 5 seconds were VERY explicit. Full nudity and sex acts in a shower. Luckily I was playing the game without one of my children! We have been playing Wordscapes & Wordscapes: In Bloom for a few years now, and never had anything like this before. I was extremely shocked and immediately deleted both apps. How on Earth has this been allowed to happen?! My advice is to not download this game. Some of the legitimate ads have been inappropriate (sexist) at times, but this is truly shocking for a game that is marketed towards children, or any game for that matter!

Shameful adverts so don't bother

No problem with the game. Good fun and educational . I have even encouraged other friends and family to download the app. When I get comic porno adds/games for example Breaker Fun. .... I'm gone . If you want a game to be successful don't offend a majority of the users by allowing pathetic/ offensive/ outdated adverts ??? This is 2022 !!! Q Just got rid of the app. For this reason

Promotes addiction behaviors

My son lives word games, so I was excited to have him play Wordscapes. He loves it, but even after we paid to remove ads, I checked in on him, and he was playing a candy crush types game because he wanted to earn more coins. I wish he could just play the game without the awful oxytocin inducing aspects.

Way too many ads

Dont' bother playing unless you are prepared to pay for no ads.
