Each page of BESOS FOR BABY: A LITTLE BOOK OF KISSES introduces a living thing that likes to share kisses, or some form of affection. The standard family figures appear first (Mami, Papi, Doggy, Kitty) before other recognizable things like the sun, flowers, and butterflies come in to demonstrate how they, too, give "kisses."

The simple yet charming text in Besos for Baby manages to be engaging and calming while the illustrations add context and delight to the narrative.
