This fun, inclusive look at our constant companion -- our body -- delights in difference and drives home the message to respect and accept your body, no matter what it looks like. With spare text and cheerful cartoon-like illustrations, Everybody Has a Body shows different kinds of bodies are everywhere -- in the classroom, on the playground, on public transportation, indoors and outdoors. Some people use a wheelchair or walker or guide dog to get around. Some can kick a soccer ball, throw a baseball, or ballet dance. People may use their bodies differently, but we've all got a body that keeps us alive. This simple picture book offers a powerful message of body-neutrality -- the idea of accepting your body as it is -- for young kids to absorb.
