What's the Story?
In FARMING STRONG, ALL YEAR LONG, farm machines join the construction site crew to work year round and finish the projects that keep a farm running. In spring they plant crops, in summer they build a barn, in fall they harvest, and in winter they get the animals cozy and protected in their new barn. Each machine has jobs, and often they work together to share the burden and have lots of fun.
Is It Any Good?
The teamwork, cooperation, and shared sense of responsibility are great lessons for young readers, and the rhyming is a delight for those reading aloud and those listening. Big machines bring big fun in Farming Strong, All Year Long, with lots of challenging vocabulary and easier sight words, and the cheerful faces on the machines are a wonderful match for the bright colors on every page.
