A sweet farewell to a beloved series. Heartstopper: Volume 6 focuses on exploring what it means to be in a healthy, committed relationship and the importance of emotional honesty. While many of the themes in the book are important, and author Alice Oseman does a good job presenting them with authenticity, the story spends a lot of time focused on Nick and Charlie's romance. It's fitting, as this book feels like a love letter to the characters fans have come to adore. The back of the book contains both mental health resources and playlists that the characters made for each other. This book is a lovely, light farewell to the series, and fans of the series and these endearing characters will enjoy reading about what happens to them as high school comes to an end.
