So hysterical that kids will almost forget to hate nap time.

What's the Story?
Elephant is cranky and ready for a nap. Piggie says he'll nap, too. It's a fine idea, until Piggie's loud snoring starts. How's Elephant supposed to sleep through that? Or, worse, sleep through his friend Piggie floating by with a turnip for a head. Wait a minute ... a turnip for a head?!
Is It Any Good?
We guarantee that "I'm a floating turnip head" will be shouted through your house nonstop for at least a week after reading this hilarious book. Given the title -- I WILL TAKE A NAP! -- you're certainly expecting a reminder that napping is a great way to fight the kid crankies. You don't, however, expect Piggie to appear with a turnip for a head or that you'll have to be a cartoon detective to figure out exactly what part of the book is real.
Talk to Your Kids About ...
Families can talk about naps. Who in the family likes them? Who doesn't? Why do they help when you're feeling cranky?
When was Elephant dreaming, and when was he awake? What clues do you have?
Can you remember any very silly dreams you've had? Have you had any dreams where you were sure you were still awake?
