What's the Story?

I'M HUNGRY! / ¡TENGO HAMBRE!, is the story of an unlikely pair -- a chatty bluebird named Birdie and a hungry T-Rex named Lolo. When Lolo can't decide what to eat, Birdie offers a variety of options, from bananas and fish to sandwiches and cookies, but Lolo keeps saying "¡No,gracias!" Will they ever find something that satisfies this hungry little dino?

This easy to follow picture book by Angela Dominguez does a great job illustrating the fact that some of us speak Spanish, while others speak English, and some of us even speak both languages. I'm Hungry! / ¡Tengo hambre! offers a simple storyline that's easy for kids to follow. Repetitive phrases help kids learn new words in both English and Spanish. Included is a delightful blend of humor, friendship, and language learning. Vibrant illustrations provide visual cues and playful text make it a fun and engaging read for bilingual families, and kids of all ages wanting to learn a new language. It's a feel-good picture book for all to enjoy!
