The first page begins with "Love is..." and each succeeding page follows a rhyming formula that explains how the animals show love.

Like its companion book, this simple tale boasts a powerful message in a gentle way. There's love to be found on every page of Love Under the Stars, with easy-to-follow rhymes and illustrations kids will be awed by. Author Katy Tanis' celebration of nighttime love would make a welcome addition to any young child's bedtime routine and anyone's baby bookshelf.
