What's the Story?
In ROHAN MURTHY HAS A PLAN: THE KIDS IN MRS Z'S CLASS, BOOK 2, Mrs. Z's third grade class begins the day outside. They are introduced to a patch of land that hasn't been planted, and they soon decide it needs to become a garden. But there is the question of funding the garden, and Rohan Murthy gets an idea. When his mother comes to speak as the valued visitor of the day, his idea begins to gather steam. Will he be able to help raise the money needed for the school's garden? Or will a secret fear hold him back?
Is It Any Good?
This is a sweet story about a kid who has ideas and the information about how those ideas can be made a reality. This second book in The Kids in Mrs. Z's Class series, Rohan Murthy Has a Plan shows not just how a little know-how can make an idea gain momentum, but also how fears, when addressed head-on, can't get in the way of big dreams.
Rich with well-drawn characters kids will relate to, this well-crafted story may very well inspire lightbulb moments for readers of all ages.
