What's the Story?
THE MONSTER ON THE BUS shares the story of best friends Angelique and Cassius on their way to the first day of school. It's understandable that they would have jitters, but nothing could have prepared them for the trip they are about to take! While the wheels on the bus go round and round, the path they take is anything but straight. The students on board encounter a monster, a mad scientist, a dinosaur, and everything in between on their route to school. When Angelique and Cassius realize that they're going to be late for class, they take back control of the bus in their own way. But will they be able to make it to school on time?

This is a fun and whimsical picture book for young readers. The Monster on the Bus puts a classic children's song in an unpredictable and hilarious story. Children will be mesmerized by all the hidden details illustrator Hannah Marks puts on each brightly colored page. The diverse cast of characters stands out as much as the unpredictable storyline. Fans of author Josh Lieb will not be disappointed by this crazy and lovable story.
