What's the Story?

In TINY T. REX AND THE PERFECT VALENTINE, Tiny decides he wants to make a valentine for his best friend Pointy. He gets right to work using paper, scissors, glitter, and glue—but the valentine doesn't turn out the way he hoped it would. That's no problem for Pointy, who reassures Tiny that he has "the perfect Valentine already": Tiny himself.

Sweet gestures rule in this quick, heartwarming story that shows a dinosaur persevering through the challenges of attempting to bring an artistic vision to life in the form of the perfect valentine for a friend. The simple text goes a long way, especially when paired with Jay Fleck's bright, friendly illustrations, and the positive messages of the book land beautifully.
