What's the Story?
Two animal friends, a dog and a cat, go on an all-day adventure in TWO TOGETHER. They have different perspectives and like different things, but enjoy traveling together across streams, up a mountain, near a bear, in the dark and the rain and the sun. When they finally make it home, they can enjoy the warmth and light together.
Is It Any Good?
In this simple, charming story about a dog and a cat's friendship, the immersive illustrations are the superstar. Two Together takes common events—rain, running, climbing, lying down—and uses expressive color, texture, and design to turn them into memorable moments packed with emotion, like the dash through narrow straight lines of rain, or admiring stars that are gentle shapes on a deep background. Wenzel's endless subtle details make it hard to turn the page, so settle in with this one and enjoy the two friends' journey.
