Kids say ( 4 ):

This romantic comedy from Mexico packages some timely life lessons for teens and parents in a bright and bubbly exterior. Anonymously Yours relies on the likeability of its cast, particularly star Annie Cabello as Valeria. Cabello delivers a credible and charming performance as a high school senior obsessed with movies but whose parents have other plans for her. A love for cinema comes across in the tale. The filmmaker's use of vivid colors in settings and wardrobes matches the spirited energy of the teen cast, and the message about letting young people pursue their dreams is conveyed in a positive and healthy way.

  • The film is set in Mexico. How does life for teens here seem similar to or different from elsewhere, in your experience?

  • The teens here drink a lot at parties and bars. Does their consumption seem problematic? Why or why not?
