Batman: Knightfall Part 1: Knightfall
Parent and Kid Reviews
What's the Story?
With Arkham Asylum destroyed and its inmates unleashed onto Gotham City, Batman (Anson Mount) races to stop some of his greatest enemies in BATMAN: KNIGHTFALL PART 1: KNIGHTFALL. Exhausted past his breaking point, Batman is forced to confront a new threat: powerhouse villain Bane (Michael Mando).
Is It Any Good?
A powerful launch for the long-anticipated trilogy, Batman: Knightfall Part 1: Knightfall remains devoted to its source material while delving into the breakdown of the Dark Knight. This gritty animated film slowly reveals the decline of the beloved but overworked DC comic book hero as exciting villain cameos, gruesome fight scenes, and a brutal Bane origin story keep audiences entertained. Faithful comic book fans will appreciate the noir visuals, voice casting, and Batman lore throughout. The film packs lots of action and thrills into its short 78-minute run time as the climax builds, leaving audiences hungry for the sequel.
