What's the Story?

In BORUTO: NARUTO THE MOVIE, Boruto Uzumaki (voiced by Yƫko Sanpei), the son of Naruto Uzumaki (voiced by Junko Takeuchi), struggles with his father's legacy and the responsibilities that come with it. Feeling neglected by Naruto's duties, Boruto ends up cheating in his exams using scientific ninja tools. However, when the village is attacked by the Otsutsuki clan members, Boruto realizes the true meaning of being a ninja. With guidance from Sasuke (Noriaki Sugiyama) and the support of his friends, Boruto fights to protect his village and begins to understand and accept his father's legacy.

Fans of the Naruto series will most likely be thrilled with what turns out to be one of the most complex, moving, and thrilling installments in the famous series. Boruto: Naruto the Movie focuses on the relationship between Boruto and his father, the famous Naruto, who appears to neglect his family in favor of his duties protecting others. In addition to the exciting action sequences, the film is a great example of how to incorporate family drama elements into animated films in a nuanced way.
