Ciao Alberto
What's the Story?
Alberto, part sea creature and part boy, works very hard in CIAO ALBERTO to try to be a good fisherman because he "wants to make Massimo proud." He's always making mistakes and receives very little feedback from Massimo. Things come to a head when Alberto makes a mistake he's afraid will ruin everything.
Is It Any Good?
This warm and silly tale conveys the importance of communication in a manner perfectly suited to younger children. Alberto (voiced by Jack Dylan Grazer of Luca and Ron's Gone Wrong) remains a spunky, easy-to-like character in Ciao Alberto. His sincerity and good intentions shine through in everything he does. Although Massimo doesn't speak much in the beginning, he's never scary: a gentle, if sometimes grumpy, giant that takes things in stride. Alberto's antics will keep viewers entertained and the sweet resolution will leave everyone satisfied. The world could use more stories like this, that emphasize healthy communication in an age-appropriate way.
