What's the Story?

Following the events of the first installment, DHURANDHAR THE REVENGE continues the story of Hamza Ali Mazari (Ranveer Singh), an Indian spy determined to dismantle terrorist threats against his country. But as his mission intensifies, his methods grow increasingly violent, fueled by a deepening desire for vengeance.

Is It Any Good?

Our review:
Parents say ( 2 ):
Kids say ( 1 ):

Much like the first film, Aditya Dhar's action sequel is a montage of gore and violence, guns and grenades. The problems that plagued Dhurandhar are all present in Dhurandhar The Revenge too. The movie attempts to delve deeper into the character of Hamza—formerly known as Jaskirat Singh Rangi—yet remains obsessed with butchered bodies and battlefields of blood. Prolonged torture sequences and crossfire ceaselessly fill the film, barely sparing time for anything else. The almost four-hour runtime painfully drags as gory action sequences grow stale. And while male aggression is front and center throughout, female characters are completely sidelined—used merely for sentimental value or romance. Fans of the first film will find something here, but others will want to skip it.
