What's the Story?

In EJEN ALI: THE MOVIE, a clever young spy named Ali (voiced by Ida Rahayu Yusoff) is learning what it really means to be a hero. Once he was the only person who could use a high-tech gadget called IRIS, but Ali discovers that his agency has made a new version that anyone can control. Suddenly he begins to question his place on the team. When a mysterious woman named Niki (voiced by Nabilah Rais) appears and challenges everything Ali believes about his mission, he's forced to choose between loyalty and doing what's right. With help from his friends Alicia (voiced by Noorhayati Maslini) and Bakar (voiced by Shafiq Isa) and guidance from his mother, Aliya, Ali sets out to uncover a dangerous plot that could destroy his city. Along the way, he learns that true strength comes not from gadgets or titles, but from courage, honesty, and heart.

This is an exciting and surprisingly emotional spy adventure. The action scenes are fast and fun, filled with creative gadgets, colorful visuals, and intense missions that will keep older kids entertained. What makes the story stand out is its heart. Ali is figuring out who he wants to be and learning that being a hero isn't about special powers, but about courage and honesty.

While the story can feel a little packed at times, and some of the plot twists move quickly, the film balances humor, emotion, and action. The soundtrack and musical moments are another highlight, with energetic songs and even a few fun dance surprises that bring extra life to the story. It's also refreshing to see a film from Malaysia that celebrates teamwork, friendship, and cultural pride. Fans of movies like Big Hero 6 or Spy Kids will likely enjoy this high-energy mix of heart, heroism, and music.
