Parents' Guide to Gatto

Parents need to know that Gatto is Pixar's upcoming coming-of-age story that blends 2D hand-painted drawings with their traditional computer animation. Set in the streets of Venice, Italy, the movie follows black cat Nero (voiced by Mark Ruffalo) as he begins to question whether he's truly happy with the life he's built. Indebted to Rocco, the local mob boss (Laurence Fishburne), Nero finds himself caught in a dilemma—but along the way, he stumbles into an unexpected friendship with a human that may change everything. Expect some slapstick peril, jokes and one-liners, and threats, along with themes of teamwork, gratitude, and empathy.
