This animated tale is a wild, fantastical journey through a world of aliens, robots, and personified animals. Despite its penchant for fight scenes and occasional use of insult language, King Shakir: Recycle's underlying message about the importance of reducing waste is one that both parents and kids are sure to appreciate. With its combination of humor, action, and catchy music, the film is an engaging watch, especially for fans of movies like Big Hero 6 and the Star Wars franchise. The convoluted story lines may prove to be a challenge for some viewers, and the movie can drag towards the end. But the powerful images of the waste produced by Earth are sure to leave a lasting impact on young viewers.
