In this animated horror film from the "The Legends" saga, a fascinating ambiguity is achieved with the evil creatures. They go from invisible to destructive and then transform based on the protagonist's actions. Those following Leo San Juan's (Benny Emmanuel) adventures will find him more mature and reflective.

The film successfully portrays the coming of age of the protagonists and how their brotherhood has strengthened. The script is rich in spiritual symbolism and encourages reflection on the relationship between humans and nature. The portrayal of the "chaneque" characters, despite their association with the forest, feels somewhat forced. Because of the scary elements and the apparent death of some characters, it can scare young children.
