A hilarious classic

Major Payne is simply a fun movie from a nearly by-gone era that follows a standard military "boot camp" theme. I have been through a boot camp and they actually do a very good job of keeping the profanity and violence in check while teaching these kids how to believe in themselves and do what needs to be done. No, it is not going to be viewed favorably by most modern helicopter parents who put a bandaid on their kids every time they whimper. But if you and you family are able to enjoy humor without being extremely over sensitive, you will like this movie. And you will quote one liners for years to come. As always your child's maturity dictates more than their age.

torture for fun

Why anyone would watch this movie, or why any parent would allow their child to watch it, is troubling and hard to understand. The Major humiliates his kids far beyond belief. This would be especially traumatic to anyone who's ever been through excessive humiliation in real life. He also thinks that killing is fun. SICK!!!! I stopped watching less than halfway through and threw it away. I've forgotten a lot of it, but again, the more that's forgotten the better.
