Our Fault (Culpa Nuestra)
What's the Story?
Four years have passed when OUR FAULT starts. Jenna (Eva Ruiz) and Lion (Victor Varona) are getting married, and they've schemed to reunite Nick (Gabriel Guevara) and Noah (Nicole Wallace) in their wedding party. The reunion gets off to a shaky start but eventually works its magic. Still, Nick hasn't forgiven Noah for her past relationships and the two part ways again, brought back together when Nick buys out a start-up where Noah is working. Their attraction is hard to deny, but Nick isn't ready to move on. Events will conspire to keep throwing the two back together.
Is It Any Good?
This top-watched franchise from Spain hits the same target audience as the After series with its mix of tortured romance, attractive stars, beautiful settings, and contemporary soundtrack. Perhaps because Nick and Noah have grown up a little bit in Our Fault, the third film feels more mature than its predecessors. The tone is also a bit calmer—potentially to the point of feeling too slow for some younger audiences. Some of the more juvenile aspects have been pared down (car racing, unrealistic intrigue), though closing sequences harkening back to earlier plot points could easily have been edited out. Spain is once again on gorgeous display.
