Parents' Guide to Sarkaru Vaari Paata

Parents need to know that Sarkaru Vaari Paata is an Indian action-packed drama with stylized bloody violence throughout. It tells the story of Mahesh (Mahesh Babu) who moves between India and the United States, on a mission to change corrupt rich defaulters after being conned by former romantic interest Kalaavathi (Keerthy Suresh) and her politician father, Rajendranath (Samuthirakani). The film has extreme violence, blood, and gore; all sorts of weapons such as guns, blades, chains, belts, sticks, etc. are used. A child witnesses his parents hanging themselves. Intense hand-to-hand brawls include kicking, slapping, and punching; characters are seriously injured. Elaborate action sequences include vandalism, trespassing, and cars are damaged and a truck is set on fire. People are threatened and held hostage by angry mobs. A male character slaps a female character in the name of "disciplining" her and eventually blackmails her. There is romance and flirting through song and dance sequences; in one scene people kiss. Characters often talk in a derogatory manner about women. Fancy vehicles and Apple products are seen in the film. There is significant smoking and drinking. The film is in Telugu with English subtitles.
