A Limited Preview of Shrek 5

Parents need to know that Shrek 5 is the follow-up to 2010's Shrek Forever After and the fifth overall installment in the core Shrek franchise, all of which are based on the children's book by William Steig. The movie brings back many of the iconic characters that fans have come to love and will likely introduce some new friends, too. While not much is known about the plot yet, we do know that the story will focus not just on Shrek (voiced again by Mike Myers), Fiona (Cameron Diaz), and their best friend, Donkey (Eddie Murphy), but also their daughter Felicia (Zendaya). Families can safely expect slapstick situations and gross-out humor alongside the family-friendly humor this series is known for.
