What's the Story?

At Holiday Hill Farm, where SPOOKLEY AND THE CHRISTMAS KITTENS and a Spookley Halloween show take place, Spookley the square pumpkin is determined to help find the lost green kitten Mistletoe after he wanders off looking for his stolen collar. Despite songs and other entreaties, Spookley can't muster the assistance of his friends, but bent on doing the "right thing," he treks off into the snowy forest to rescue the cat on his own. Mistletoe has met three other homeless kittens also in need of care. Eventually, the others realize they should've helped Spookley, but by then Spookley and the kittens have safely returned.

Is It Any Good?

Our review:
Parents say ( 1 ):
Kids say ( 2 ):

Watching Spookley and the Christmas Kittens could be a harmless way to while away 44 minutes for restless little ones in the mood for a snowy, friendly tale. There isn't much downside to good-natured talking vegetables, fruits, kittens, and a scarecrow instructing viewers on good values and occasionally bursting into songs that underscore the importance of friendship, peace, home, and family. "When I see someone in trouble I can't look the other way," Spookley explains, and who would argue?
