What's the Story?
In SUPER-CHARLIE, Willie (voiced by Alex Kelly) has always dreamed of being a superhero. When his baby brother, Charlie (Lucy Smith), is born, Willie is dismayed to discover that Charlie does in fact have super powers. But when Willie discovers a plot by a supervillain, Willie must work with Charlie to save the day.
Is It Any Good?
This is a funny, exciting, and clever animated adventure about sibling rivalry dressed up as a superhero movie. Older siblings will relate to Super-Charlie's main character, 10-year-old Willie, a cheerful and smart boy who suddenly feels neglected when his little brother, Charlie, is born. When he finds out Charlie has superpowers, he is first impressed, and then jealous. While the superpowers keep it interesting, it's these real-world feelings that will resonate with siblings of all ages. With jokes that will land with frazzled new parents and witty gags for kids, Super-Charlie brings a good time to all.
