Violence & Scariness
Cartoonish but intense violence; the tone is dark even though the subject matter is somewhat silly. Superhero-style fighting.

Parents Need to Know
Parents need to know that The Batman vs. Dracula is a dark superhero story about Batman's fight with some old and new enemies. Characters in Arkham Asylum are shown as "crazy" and are not treated respectfully by caretakers (that said, some of them are villains). The story is as dark as the live-action films; the Joker is very scary in appearance, and violence includes hand-to-hand combat and some gore. Is It Any Good?
This dark, disturbing animated movie is probably best for teen fans of this intense franchise. It's atmospheric, pretty violent, and suspenseful, but not all that fast-paced. The voice acting by veterans Strong and Stormare do elevate it, but there's nothing super-special about this superhero special.
