What's the Story?

Geralt (voiced by Doug Cockle) and Jaskier (Joey Batey) have been called upon to look into a series of attacks taking place in a village and on a boat in THE WITCHER: SIRENS OF THE DEEP. The villagers and their royal leaders want a quick resolution and blame their traditional underwater rivals, the merpeople. But things are not what they seem, and it's up to Geralt and friends to figure out who is responsible before the situation escalates to all-out war.

This franchise comes with built-in fans, and the action, humor, and characters of the latest entry will draw them in. But The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep has some aspects that could be off-putting for newcomers—namely, animated adults swearing unnecessarily and having sex. Dialogues such as "I liked you better when we only f--ked, not talked," don't help, but Jaskier delivers a few more elevated quips. Themes about the sacrifices necessary for love, or the futility of some wars and other short-sighted human behavior, can also be appreciated by mature audiences.
