What's the Story?
In WAKE UP SID, when utterly spoiled and unambitious Siddharth or "Sid" (Ranbir Kapoor) is kicked out of home after an argument with his rich father, he moves in with his friend, Aisha (Konkona Sen Sharma). Will Sid be able to find what he is truly passionate about and finally become independent?

This romantic Bollywood drama is a sweet and simple tale that sweeps you up and gives you a warm and cozy embrace. Wake Up Sid is a coming-of-age film that celebrates the friendship between its two leads and how their relationship develops into something more. Sid and Aisha's journey through to adulthood is rocky, yet relatable as the two try to make sense of themselves and each other. Yet throughout, the film pauses for reflection, allowing the viewer to relish life's smaller delights as the course of Sid and Aisha's lives play out.
