Parents need to know that Wicked is the movie adaptation of the blockbuster Broadway musical (itself based on Gregory Maguire's book) that first premiered in 2003. This retelling of The Wizard of Oz reveals the story of Elphaba (Cynthia Erivo), who eventually becomes the green-skinned Wicked Witch of the West, and her unlikely friendship with good witch Glinda (Ariana Grande).
