What's the Story?
ZOEY 102 shares the story of Zoey and her friends from Pacific Coast Academy, as they prepare for Logan and Quinn's wedding. When Quinn asks Zoey to be her maid of honor she enthusiastically says yes. But, when Zoey realizes the wedding is on the same day as her biggest day at work, she has to immediately go into problem-solving mode. Zoey must be in two places at once, hire an actor to play her boyfriend for the wedding, and pretend to not still be in love with Chase -- sounds easy. Zoey is stressed as she tries to please everyone, reconnect with old classmates, and keep everyone in the dark about her secrets. But the one person she needs to be honest with is herself. Will Zoey be able to make everything go off without a hitch, or will the day come crashing down around her?
Is It Any Good?
This lively movie is a fun revival story that's sure to put a smile on the faces of the original show's fans. Zoey 102 transports viewers back to Southern California, where they get to catch up with lots of original cast members. The show's characters have always been privileged, but their high level of success in their chosen fields is a little unrealistic, even for a light tale like this. Zoe's main story line is interwoven with the plot of the reality show she produces and Stacey's quest to find the Santa Monic killer -- which can be a little distracting. Other than that, this is a fun, fan-pleasing watch that brings closure to the Zoey 101 world.
