What's It About?

ABC KIDS SOUNDWALKS combines life skills for kids and immersive nature sounds to create a well-rounded, relaxing experience for all. Each episode is approximately eight minutes long and features a different location to transport the listener to, such as a rainforest, desert, ocean, and more. Soundwalks is an Australian produced podcast, and many locations are prominent Australian destinations, making this show educational for kids who are unfamiliar with the region as well. A different lesson is taught each episode, frequently with the intention of creating emotionally mature kids. Examples of lessons include processing "big feelings", teamwork, and calming down.
