What's It About?

DINOSAUR TRAIN: RIDE ALONG ADVENTURES finds kids' favorite dino characters -- Buddy, Tiny, Shiny, and Don -- as they travel on a train through space and time and encounter new and interesting creatures. Oftentimes, the story centers on a specific event, such as a friend's birthday or a dinosaur egg that's about to hatch. As an extension of the Dinosaur Train animated TV series, the podcast aims to attract a similar audience of preschool children. Featuring many of the same voice actors, the production quality matches most other Pinna shows. Its short runtime makes it ideal for occupying kids on a short commute or satisfying their entertainment craving with a quick screen-free morsel throughout the day.

Given its gentle stories and characters, Dinosaur Train: Ride Along Adventures is best suited for the youngest listeners. Adults eager to expose their kids to a positive influence will love what this podcast has to offer. Buddy, Tiny, Shiny, and Don are perfect avatars for kids who want to imagine themselves on a journey aboard the Dinosaur Train. And The Conductor and other adult characters complement them with patience, compassion, and excitement of their own.

The tales of friendship, community, and teamwork incorporate life lessons as well as facts about dinosaurs. But often these episodes wind up feeling so low-stakes that they could lose listener interest midway through the journey. It's a great screen-free activity to ease parent guilt and keep kids occupied with their favorite characters.
