What's It About?

EARTH RANGERS, hosted by fictional wildlife biologist Earth Ranger Emma, teaches kids about different animals around the world as well environmental conservation. Episodes feature segments like "Wild and Wacky Animal Facts" or "Who Am I?" (an animal guessing game where you try to figure out the animal based on its sounds). Season 4 continues to educate listeners, but also keeps kids engaged and entertained with a serialized mystery story about a missing conservationist. Along with animal facts, there's a major emphasis on conservation and what we can all do to be Earth Rangers who protect animals and the environment. A connection is always made between the animals discussed and the importance of taking care of animal habitats. Sometimes listeners are given conservation missions, where they can choose to recycle used batteries or set up a bird feeder. Kids are encouraged to share their completed projects with the show.
