What's It About?

REBEL GIRLS: GROWING UP POWERFUL is a podcast based on the hit book series, educating young girls on menstruating, emotions, healthy mental health habits, and advocating for others through fun music, gameshows, and expert advice. Episodes are 10 minutes or less and feature Asha and Jestine as they experience growing up, puberty, and everything in between. Some episodes focus on celebrating ourselves for who we are and where we're from, while others bring in experts such as social-emotional learning consultant, Aline Topjian to teach methods of how to relieve stress.

Our review:
Parents say : Not yet rated
Kids say ( 1 ):

Bite-size episodes with entertaining plots and necessary information for all. Rebel Girls: Growing Up Powerful is a great way to start important conversations with young listeners about puberty, emotions, mental health, and more. Each episode is structured a bit differently, making them interesting and entertaining with mini gameshows, exercises, and expert interviews. Parents and kids both will learn and enjoy. Music, sound effects, and overall production quality is excellent -- making episodes memorable and easy to listen to. The only downside is that most episodes require a subscription to Rebel Girls+ or their Patreon in order to access all of them. But, a subscription comes with hundreds of additional Rebel Girls episodes and ad-free listens.
