Male and female characters are equally valued and represented and have both strengths and weaknesses. Show is Spanish retelling of English counterpart with a fully Spanish-speaking and Latino cast.

Parents Need to Know
Parents need to know that Seis Minutos is a captivating adventure-mystery podcast that families can enjoy together. It is the Spanish-language version of the English podcast, Six Minutes, about an 11 year-old girl rescued off the Alaskan coast with no memory but her name who's determined to find the truth about who she is. Strong themes of curiosity, courage, perseverance and teamwork can be found throughout the story and its characters. Of possible concern for younger listeners are the "child-catchers" who want to take Holiday away in a helicopter and use a stun gun on another character. Kids are put in moments of peril. Animosity and mild threats among kid characters show strong dislike and distrust. Adults try to protect themselves by lying and asking their kids to go along with the lies. Some of the social-emotional and life lessons may be be too obscure for younger listeners, but the website provides handy podcast companions for older kids to analyze and use critical thinking skills through activities based on each episode.
Is It Any Good?
This gripping, adventure mystery series will captivate kids and parents alike with its intriguing story, quality voice acting, and its etherial music and sound effects. Seis Minutos is entertaining and exciting, with kid characters who are realistic and accessible, speaking and acting with natural language and rhythm. The amazing sound production and quality make listeners feel like they're are right there in the middle of the action. As the title suggests, each episode is around six minutes and leaves listeners on a cliffhanger and always wanting more. With its fast-paced, action-filled, bite-sized episodes, Seis Minutos doesn't disappoint.
