What Parents Need to Know
Parents need to know that The Hollow is a captivating and engaging ghost story and modern take on the well-known tale of the Headless Horseman. Although it's a tale full of audio haunts, it doesn't rely on violence, gore or mature themes in its storytelling. The show does include spooky sound effects, suspense and audio jump scares that may be a bit too scary for some listeners depending on their sensibilities. There are plenty of good role models and messages in this story and themes of teamwork, courage and compassion. The Hollow is well-cast with amazing audio production and is sure to interest older kids, tweens, teens and adults alike.

What’s It About?
THE HOLLOW is an inspired, modern re-telling of Washington Irving's 1820 classic, The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. The show follows three new friends in their first year at Sleepy Hollow Middle School as they attempt to track down the Headless Horseman. The friends come into contact with spirits while also navigating the terrors of middle school. Each episode is 10-15 minutes long and leaves the listener with a cliffhanger that's sure to keep them wanting more. Available on most listening platforms, The Hollow is produced by Gen-Z Media, a podcast platform geared toward engaging tween and teen listeners.
