Parents Need to Know
Parents need to know that America's Funniest Home Videos: Animal Edition (also referred to as AFV: Animal Edition), features lots of amateur streaming, Instagram, and Facebook videos of animals behaving in ways that are surprising or humorous to humans. Many videos feature domestic and wild animals acting aggressively or biting. It's normal animal behavior, and no injuries are shown, but adult explanations might help younger or more sensitive viewers understand why they are behaving in certain ways.
Is It Any Good?
Each episode of the lighthearted but predictable AFV spin-off offers lots of streaming, Instagram, and Facebook videos featuring a wide variety of domestic pets and wild animals behaving, well, like animals. The videos are organized thematically into a segments like "What Is That Dog Barking at Now?" and "Top Ten Times You Were Glad That Glass Was There" to give them some context, and to generate some humor. Added to the fray are people who feed, play with, or talk to the creatures, and how they react to their often unpredictable behavior. Animal fans will love it, but some may be sensitive to scenes of animals snapping at, biting, or attacking, despite the fact that it's normal animal behavior. Nonetheless, America's Funniest Home Videos: Animal Edition offers lots of animal-themed entertainment.
