What Parents Need to Know
Parents need to know that America's Got Talent: Extreme, a spin-off of the AGT franchise, features contestants performing extreme talents and stunts for cash and a title. The acts featured are impressive and often extremely dangerous, and viewers of all ages should never try these at home. It's overall family-friendly, but sensitive viewers may find many of these stunts anxiety provoking. There's some occasional strong language.

What's the Story?
AMERICA'S GOT TALENT: EXTREME is an America's Got Talent spin-off featuring folks performing extreme stunts for $500K. Terry Crews hosts the series, which features contestants showing off their talents on stage, as well as using tight ropes, swimming pools, race tracks, and other settings at the Atlanta Motocross Speedway. Simon Cowell, pro wrestler Nikki Bella, and stunt performer Travis Pastrana judge each act, and ultimately decide who wins the crown and the cash.
Is It Any Good?
The AGT spin-off features lots of over-the-top acts from all over the world, ranging from massive motorcycle jumps to synchronized swimming stunts, designed to keep viewers both entertained and on the edge of their seats. As with all AGT installments, judges decide which contestants showcase talent and which ones are so over-the-top that they are impossible to watch and enjoy. But the larger-than-life show is also clear about the dangers associated with these performances (especially since it was forced to pause its production after a rehearsal that went seriously wrong). As long as viewers understand that these acts are carefully coordinated and not designed to be replicated, there's no doubt that families will find America's Got Talent: Extreme a fun watch.
