Parents Need to Know
Parents need to know that Andy's Top 5 features recaps of some of British kids' TV host Andy Day's favorite top five things from previous episodes of his children's series. It's fun and kid-friendly, but it's more goofy than totally educational. The show does contains some scenes of Day being chased by scary creatures, being launched through the air, falling down hills, and splashing into the water, which can be potentially scary for younger children.
Is It Any Good?
This lively recap series shares moments from previously aired seasons of Andy's Dinosaur Adventures, Andy's Wild Adventures, and other series in the franchise. While some include brief scenes of friends like Kip the Cat (voiced by Harriet Carmichael), most of the scenes involve Andy looking for and observing wild animals around the world with the help of CGI and animal video footage. Some also show him getting caught up in various mishaps, like being chased or captured by creatures, sliding down hills, and falling into water. Andy's Top 5 doesn't offer much that's new or original, but fans of the franchise will enjoy it.
