What's the Story?
BALLOON BARNYARD is an Australian animated series about a pair of adventurous balloon donkeys who are constantly trying to solve mysteries around the barnyard. Yellow balloon donkey Pip and blue balloon donkey Streak are good friends, and are often puzzled by things they see and hear around the farm. With the help of their other balloon friends, they work together to figure out the answers to their questions.
Is It Any Good?
This colorful show follows a pair of charming balloon donkeys and their friends as they actively problem solve. Pip and Streak are very aware of their surroundings and are curious about the things going on around them. As a result, they are constantly raising questions about things happening around the barnyard that they don't understand. But rather than simply relying on others to explain things to them, they observe, collect information, and use some critical thinking skills to find some answers on their own. Balloon Barnyard's 7-minute installments are short enough to keep preschoolers' attention spans long enough to show them that it's ok to ask questions about the world around them, and that it's possible to figure a few things out on their own.
Talk to Your Kids About ...
