What's the Story?

BETRAYAL: THE PERFECT HUSBAND follows the marriage story of Jenifer Faison, a Hollywood producer. After meeting her soulmate (Spencer Herron) in college, she breaks up with him and decides to prioritize experiencing everything life offers. Years later, Jenifer finds herself back with her college sweetheart, and they eventually marry. But the start of a prosperous life with the "perfect man" suddenly turns out to be anything but when he's arrested for sexual assault.

Is It Any Good?

Our review:
Parents say : Not yet rated
Kids say : Not yet rated

This miniseries frames itself as a sweet and deceiving story, but the constant threat of doom lingering in the background makes most of the show feel like filler. Betrayal: The Perfect Husband also jumps from sinister and mysterious to fluff and bittersweet so quickly that there's very little time to adjust to the tone. As the series focuses on relationships and discusses sexual assault, it's more suitable for older teens.
