A Lot or a Little?
What you will—and won't—find in this TV show.
Though presented as a game to help Santa, it's ultimately a chance for cast members to compete for money.
Positive Role Models
Contestants can be cheery and cordial, and most are competitive. Some will do whatever they have to in order to win the cash.
Santa's cohost is Asian. Contestants are men, women, and self-defined LGBTQ+ members who are White, Black, Latino, and from different parts of the U.S.A.

Parents Need to Know
Parents need to know that Big Brother Reindeer Games is a Christmas-themed Big Brother installment that features lots of competitive behavior as former contestants of the franchise compete for cash. There's some effort to keep it mild and merry out of respect for Santa Claus (and young viewers who might be watching), but expect some disagreements. On occasion there's mild innuendo that will go over kids' heads, and there's a shout-out to Paramount+ subscriptions. Swearing is considered naughty, and strong words are fully muted.
Is It Any Good?
The unscripted spinoff attempts to create a family-friendly Christmas-themed event by contextualizing the challenges as ways to help Santa Claus. While it's mildly charming, the intention behind it is so badly gift wrapped that it's easy to see all the strategizing and competitive behavior the parent series is known for. There's some friendly socializing, but some cast members reference former problematic relationships in ways that aren't very jolly. Some even shed their holiday spirit by openly admitting that they will do turn on people if they must to win the prize money. Big Brother fans may appreciate this as a gift, but others may find Big Brother Reindeer Games to be deserving of a big lump of coal.
