What's the Story?

BIG CITY GREENS THE MOVIE: SPACECATION transports viewers to Big City, where the Greens are preparing for their annual family vacation. Cricket (Chris Houghton) is disappointed to learn that dad Bill (Bob Joles) had another mundane roadtrip planned and decides to take matters into his own hands. Cricket enters into an agreement with the untrustworthy CEO of Big Tech, Gwendolyn Zapp (Cheri Oteri), and agrees to launch his family into space to harvest vegetables for the company. From freezing their spaceships killjoy captain, to inciting a robot attack, the Green family's vacation takes an unexpected, out-of-this-world turn -- causing lots of drama and frustration. Back on Earth, Nancy Green (Wendi McLendon-Covey) tries to get her family to safety and ends up being held captive. When an asteroid threatens to wipe out Big City, the entire Green family must work together to save themselves and others. But can they do it?
