What's the Story?

BLUE BOX is an anime based on a manga called Ao no Hako (Blue Box). It follows a boy named Taiki Inotmata (voiced by Shoya Chiba), who attends a Japanese private school called Eimei Academy that combines junior high school and high school students. Taiki is a third-year junior high school student on the badminton team, and his crush Chinatsu Kano (voiced by Reina Ueda) is a first-year student in senior high school on the school basketball team. He has a crush on Chinatsu to the point that he daydreams about being married to her one day. They become closer during their sports practices.

Is It Any Good?

Our review:
Parents say ( 2 ):
Kids say ( 3 ):

This anime series is tame and typical for the genre. Blue Box blends both teen romance and sports, which may be appealing to younger viewers with those interests. It can be comedic and endearing -- a mellow treat for teens and tweens.
