Is It Any Good?

In a slew of reality dating shows, each trying to outdo the last with a spicy new hook, this is one to skip – regardless of how you feel about the cosmos. With more than its fair share of cringe-worthy moments and unions that feel anything but genuine, Cosmic Love is a mildly interesting concept that quickly proves to just be more of the same. The actual astrology seems spotty at best, and all the typical pitfalls are here: participants looking for love but somehow overlooking that they don't live near each other, an unbelievable premise that they should be ready to get married at the end of five weeks, and participants who are clearly more interested in being on TV than making a meaningful connection. Worst of all, it follows in the unfortunate footsteps of Love Is Blind and waits until the couples are all the way down the wedding aisle to ask if they actually wish to be wed, a perfectly fitting finale in its disingenuousness.
